Literature review descriptions and important data are presented concerning the spinal meningioma, oncologic metastasis, structural spondylogenic myelopathy, vascular disorders, arterio-venous dural fistula, neurosarcoidosis and other entities, as causes for spinal cord compressive syndromes (SCCS) and some other rаrе myelopathies.
The importance of the precise clinical history taking and comprehensive neurological examination in patients with SCCS are illustrated with cases from our practice. Some practical diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, as well as classifications are reviewed.
