The National consensus includes the algorithm for the manage-ment of a patient with acute cerebrovascular incident (transient is-chemic attack, stroke, parenchymal or subarachnoid hemorrhage,thrombosis of brain veins or dural sinuses) starting from the onsetof the disease and including the hospital and after hospital period.All modern diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitation methods basedon national and international consensus statements as well as on ourclinical experience are included. Special attention is given on the in-terventional neurology as a modern method for treatment with min-imal invasive intravascular techniques. Combining the intravasculartechniques with the modern methods of intensive care may improvethe outcome of strokes and brain hemorrhages.
