Abstract

Human herpes virus 6 (HHV-6) is a frequent cause of central nervous system infection in immunocompromised patients.
Much rare are the cases of HHV-6 encephalitis in immunocompetent patients. We present a case report of encephalitis in a 66-y-old immunocompetent male.
