The EFNS is happy to offer the following grants to young neurologists:

EFNS Department-Department Co-operation programme 2012
80 grants each amounting to a maximum of € 1,800.- in order to make it possible to stay at a foreign department for 6 weeks.
Application deadline: 30 November 2011

EFNS Fellowship Programme 2012
10 scientific grants amounting to a maximum of € 2,000.- per month.
Duration: up to 12 months
5 educational grants amounting to a maximum of € 2,000.- per month.
Duration: up to 6 months
Application deadline: 31 December 2011

EFNS Academy 10-13 May 2012 (Spring School for Young Neurologists)
This annual meeting offers lectures and workshops for up to 120 young neurologists. Participants pay for their travel only.

EFNS Bursaries - Stockholm 2012
200 bursaries, consisting of free registration to the congress and free hotel accommodation are available at each EFNS congress.

EFNS Tournament - Uschi Tschabitscher Prize for Young Neuroligists
12 persons will be chosen to participate in the tournament. Selected candidates will receive a travel grant as well as hotel accommodation and free registration to the congress.

EFNS Investigator Award - Stockholm 2012
All posters and short communications presented at the EFNS congress will automatically be eligible for the investigator award. Each EFNS Scientist Panel will select one winner.

ENS Fellowship:

Fellowship terms
The European Neurological Society will support the scholarship holder for a period of between 3 and 6 months. The period of support may be extended subject to acceptable reporting and application for further support. The monthly stipend amounts to € 2'000.–. The scholarship is to be held in a host institution in Europe in the year 2012. ENS sponsors this programme to provide an opportunity to participate in an exchange. It is aimed primarily at young neurologists contributing actively at ENS Meetings.
Eligibility
Applicants must be less than 40 years of age and affiliated to an academic neurological department. Applicants and/or home or host institution must be active at ENS Meetings. The ENS invites applicants from European nations as well as those outside Europe.
